If you have concerns with lines to your forehead, frown or crow’s feet that is an indication that this treatment may be beneficial. If you can see lines in these areas when you are not making expression these may be reduced over time with these treatments.

This is something that I am often asked! Unfortunately we see a lot of images from Hollywood that show people who claim that they have only had a “bit of Botox”, when in reality they have had invasive cosmetic surgeries. I promise you that having treatments will have you looking fresh and rested…..not stretched and scary!!!!!

Not at all. I do need to remove any make-up in the areas that we are treating, and you can’t reapply for 12 hours. But if you have places to be before our appointment with me don’t stress if you have make-up on. Alternatively you can come make-up free…..sometimes it’s nice to let the skin have a breather!!

Studies show that the average length between treatments is three months, however it is very individual, so after our first appointment we will assess how long your treatment lasts before we need to touch base again.

As with every medication there are risks and benefits. These will be discussed at the consultation appointment.

Most of us could cope with that feedback!

I compare the discomfort to pulling out an eyebrow hair, and that is as bad as it gets. Most feedback is that it was better than they thought it would be. It is totally tolerable and worth the discomfort when you see the outcome

Some clients can see a little redness after the treatment that goes after about 20 minutes. There are some restrictions on exercise….but most of us don’t mind that!!

It may take up to two weeks to see the results, however most see the lines softening in 4-5 days.

I would say this is the number one fear of anyone considering Dermal Fillers. I totally understand why! We are inundated with images online and in magazines of the “botched” outcomes of Dermal Fillers, if I wasn’t in this industry I would be concerned too!

The point of having volume replaced with Dermal Filler is to subtly enhance your natural beauty, to replace the volume that was present in our 20’s.

You will not look fake with dermal fillers if they are placed correctly with the correct amounts.

This is what we discuss at your consultation, what exactly are you wanting to achieve.

But to put your mind at ease, the extreme results you see in the media I suspect are normally the result of too much filler and poor placement, we will not have that outcome!

We use an anaesthetic cream that numbs the area, the treatment is very tolerable. Most feedback from clients is that there was less discomfort than they imagined.

This is very individual depending on what you are wanting to achieve. Most clients will only require 1ml if they are seeking a subtle refresh of the lip area. If you are wanting full voluptuous lips then it’s probable that you will need more.

Again this is very individual. Guidelines state that, depending on the filler and where it is placed it may last up to 12- 24 months, however individual metabolic and lifestyle factors can reduce or extend the life of the product. We will discuss your individual situation during your visit.

Generally you will see results immediately, but there will be a settling in period, so the final result may take a week of two, this is why I get you back for a review to see how you are looking and feeling.
